About Me

I am a wife and mother to 5 kids, Doula and Registered Nurse of 14 years. As a nurse I worked in Labor and Delivery and found that when caring for my patients I was never afforded the opportunity to really get to know them. Our meeting was rushed, and I may learn their medical history, but I never learned what brought them joy, their favorite coping mechanisms, what areas they needed most support, how their pregnancy went. I had so many questions, but only time to chart. As I continued in my career, I became more involved with education, but I began to miss the birth experience. This led to me becoming a doula to be able to merge the entire experience. I have over 300 birth experiences under my belt in the hospital and at home. Birth is my passion, and I would love the opportunity to support and inspire you through your pregnancy and birth.
